Denielle Bassels Live at DROM Taberna

About this event

Denielle Bassels performs at DROM Taberna on June 26, 2026 at 8 PM. Juno-nominated, her music lives in a space that is smoky, alive, raw, and cinematic. Dynamic, refreshing songwriting sits at the centre of her work, contemporary, familiar, and whimsical in equal measure. Denielle Bassels’ silky voice can pull at your heartstrings or make you want to lose yourself. A night of live music in one of Toronto’s most vibrant rooms. Doors: 7 PM Show: 8 PM Tickets: NO COVER Bassels brings her dynamic and smokey Sextet to Drom Taberna playing her latest works from her acclaimed 2025 album It Goes Like This. As WholeNote Magazine observes, Bassels is “one of the most intriguing jazz/pop singer-songwriters on the current scene,” a reflection of an artist who builds her work not around a single voice, but around the space between many. Bassels does not smooth over contradiction. She sharpens it, and lets it sing.
