Tree Planting Events

About this event

Help us add more trees towards the City of Mississauga’s goal of planting one million trees by joining a tree planting event at a local park. No experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm. We’ll teach you how to plant like a pro and help make our park even more beautiful. Equipment such as shovels will be provided. Online registration is required. Put on your best Halloween costume for a chance to win a prize and help us add more trees towards the City of Mississauga’s goal of planting one million trees. Register for Trick or Trees Guidelines: Online registration is required. Dress appropriately for the weather. Wear closed-toed, sturdy shoes and long pants. Equipment such as shovels will be provided. You may also bring your own. Staff on site can sign off volunteer hours for youth under 18 years old at the Trick or Trees event.
