FOR NEPAL | Live Music + Visual Projection
FOR NEPAL 🇳🇵 On August 26, 2026, Nepal experienced one of the most devastating flood disasters in recent memory. A rock and ice avalanche near the Nepal-China border temporarily blocked the Lhende Khola before releasing a powerful surge of water, rock and debris through the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli river systems, devastating communities and critical infrastructure across several districts. As a team with roots in Nepal, we wanted to find a meaningful way to contribute from Toronto. Through MAJIPA STUDIO , we’re bringing people together for FOR NEPAL , an evening of music, visual art and community, with donations supporting relief efforts in Nepal. Join us on Friday, September 25 at the Toronto Botanical Garden for an evening of live music and visual projection, set among the gardens as the sun begins to set. Expect a diverse mix of sounds throughout the evening — from sitar and tabla to flute, acoustic guitar, vocals and live looping — with each artist bringing their own style to the space. As the evening unfolds, live visual projections will accompany the performances, bringing together music, light and the surrounding gardens to create an immersive atmosphere.
